Should you put Christmas decorations up before thanksgiving

Some people believe that you should at least wait until thanksgiving to put up Christmas decorations, but others think that right after Halloween is the perfect time to start decorating for Christmas and the New Year. Lots of people often find comfort in decorating for Christmas because that means the start of a new year. Personally I think everyone should do what they want and celebrate Christmas their own way. One of the most common traditions in a household for Christmas is to put up the Christmas tree and all the decorations the day after thanksgiving.
