The History Behind Vampires

Vampires are one of the most common monsters around Halloween time, vampires have been a fan favorite monster for years. Vampires are creatures that were believed to have pale white skin with long fanged teeth, vampires were also believed to only be out at night, because people believed that vampires could turn into bats. To look back into history when people did not know what they were talking about and just made up long tales about people who burned in the sun and drank on people's blood at night, people believed to see bats burn in the sun and turn into humans, so in result of that they believed that people with fangs of bats and white pale skin were vampires. In addition not all bats drink blood only vampire bats drink blood but vampire bats only drink animal blood. Some people have claimed to be bitten by vampire bats but that could just be loss of food source or just a story. So we don’t really know why people would make up stories about vampires but we don’t even know if they are stories at all.
