Origin of the Bearcat by Blake Buchanan

The word “bearcat” first came on print in 1889, it was used as a translation for the Chinese word “panda”. The nickname was first used by the University of Cincinnati football team. Until that name they didn’t really have a name. The bearcat is fast and quick just like a cat, it walks flat footed like a bear. It spends most of its time in trees, slowly and skillfully walks on branches and tree limbs during the nighttime to kill small animals and find fruit. The bearcat lives in South, and Southeast Asia. Maybe the weirdest thing about a bearcat is that it smells like popcorn. Now people are wondering why does a bearcat smell like popcorn? Their pee and natural body smell has the same molecules as cooked popcorn in its aroma.
